TOGETHER

Together,
Within a smudge of blue,
I walk the footpath.
Together,
With only ourselves in a group,
We are content.
Together,
We talk about the important things
Of our lives.
Together,
We are somehow complete,
Needing no-one else.

We hear the voice behind us,
Interrupting our private world.
Together,
As if one person, we glance back,
Seeing the face that spoke.
Together,
We try to accommodate the person,
Losing the closeness we had.
Together,
The conversation we make
Is of mindless events.
Together no longer,
We become smatters of blue
That once made a beautiful smudge.

REMEMBER

As I sit alone
With the warm sun on my back
I realise something’s missing
A part of me which lacks.
Could it be the trees,
Reaching for the sky?
Or could it be the children,
Walking home, who pass me by?
Perhaps, I miss the birds,
Chirping sweetly above my head?
All I feel is restlessness
A part of me is dead.
I know now what it is.
Now I realise what is wrong.
It’s the feeling, they call solitude,
All my friends are gone.
Of course I know,
That as we grow,
We have to make our way,
We all must plot a different course,
To go by everyday.
I always thought my friendships,
Would be round,
Just like the moon
But you see,
I am not ready,
For it all to end so soon.
I miss their happy laughter,
Floating on the wind.
I miss the many secrets,
That circulate within.
The only way to keep,
Our friendships woven tight,
Is to keep in contact always,
And then we’ll be alright!

Fate

A true friendship unexpectedly and innocently found online,
Who would have ever known that we would find this.
Sharing thoughts and life experiences learned through time,
It was then discovered that this true friendship was a welcomed wish.
Somehow, this friendship came to a quick ending,
Unknown and unseen to both who have come together from afar.
Circumstances were unavoidable and important matters needed attending,
All that was left were the wishes made night after night upon every lucky star.
Many years passed and life changed, some for the good and some for the bad,
Struggling to find a reason for existing and longing for a love so true.
Wondering why life was full of so many unanswered questions and feeling so sad,
Heart heavy and empty; a void that was ever so blue.
Then one day, a familiar sight appeared out of nowhere,
Could it be? Is this real? Time to quickly say hello and not hesitate.
Finally, a wish was being granted, so true and sincere,
It is my long lost friend who I thought was gone forever
and has been brought back to me...
this must be FATE!!!

I’m sitting under the rainbow
Sick of chasing pots of gold
looking up from way down low.
Some will say I gave up on my dreams,

doesn’t seem so important

My Greatest Blessings

In my life, God has granted me a blessing few can claim,
The riches were my many friends who into my life they came.
Some were family members like my mother oh so dear.
But most were people that I met, many every year.
No matter where life sent me, what city I called home,
I made life long friends and never felt alone.
My friends are there for me to listen and to care.
At times life wouldn't have been worth living if my dear friends were not there.
I could name them all one by one, a volume it would fill,
But they know who they are and that I love them and I always will.
I hope some day when the Lord I go to see,
He will grant just one more blessing,
And let my friends dwell next to me.

Winter's Friend

A winter's friend comes now and then
to turn your grey skies blue
like a special angel from up above
sent down to comfort you.
Your winter's friend will hold your hand
and make you smile again
brush away your tears, kiss your cheek
and your broken heart amend.
Your winter's friend will call you up
spend late nights on the phone
and knows when to take a step back
when you feel like being alone.
You'll meet together, laugh and sing
off note a tune or two
a little secret that you'll keep
between the two of you.
But seasons come and change
and spring will rearrange

just like the snow caps do.

a brighter day anew,

In my heart there are many hidden places.
It is all filled with very many faces.
If you visit there you will see.

I certainly wish we were well again.

We suffer some days more than the rest.

We have had to give up many things we enjoyed.
Now we are among the list of unemployed.
It takes away our independence and cheer.
That we enjoyed in our yesteryear.

Many new things for us to venture.

GOD'S GIFT

One day when God felt generous,
He looked down at me and smiled,
"Since I feel so magnanimous,
I'd like to give you something, child."
He asked me what I wanted,
I said, "Oh, really nothing more,
You've done so much already."
He said, "That's what God is for."
"You have been pretty good," He said,
I know there's not much that you seek,
I will pick a little something,
Just to make your life complete."
With great anticipation,
I looked forward to my gift,
I wondered what God had in mind,
That would give me such a lift.
"This gift," God said, "You realize,
Bears some responsibility,
So, if you accept my present,
You must be willing to agree...

A section or a part,

"Okay, God," I answered,

To myself, I thought, wow, what a gift,
For so much of me, God's asked,

With both hands I sought my gift,
I still did not have a clue,
Then God put your hand in mine,

Memori indah 2009 . . .

Sahabat . . .
Pertama kali kita menjejak kaki ke bumi SMKSKI, kita tidak mengenali di antara satu sama lain. Detik demi detik berlalu, kita belajar mengenali erti persahabatan. Bermulalah satu ikatan persahabatan yang sejati bagi mencapai impian di hati. Pahit, getir, suka dan duka kita hadapi bersama demi mencari ilmu dalam dunia yang nyata ini. Ujian demi ujian kita lalui, segalanya kita harungi dengan hati yang cekal dan tabah.

Guru-guru tercinta . . .
Ilmu yang kau taburkan akan kami jadikan jambatan untuk menyeberangi kejayaan. Ini semua tidak akan terbalas walaupun segunung emas dan intan dijadikan ganjaran. Hanya jutaan terima kasih yang mampu kami ukirkan untukmu. Doakanlah kejayaan kami agar kami dapat mengharungi cabaran dan ujian yang mendatang.
